I have been using Pam Camp to take care of mine and my families taxes for the past several years. She does an amazing job and has a wealth of knowledge regarding taxes. I am confident that she always will have my best interest. Many times I have called her past tax season with an issue and she has always been there to help me work through any issues. I recommend Pam Camp to do your taxes.

I 'inherited' Pam after my former tax lady died. She was her friend who also did taxes. I've used her for about 3 years. Pam does not answer e-mails in a timely fashion and she messed up my 2015 taxes so I had the IRS contact me. My refund ended up being $17 rather than the $200 Pam had calculated due to a mistake she made in the disability payment I received. She did not double check her work but relied on Tax Act. Then, again, the IRS contacted me a few weeks ago about a missing 1099 form for the sale of stock in 2015 (this was my mistake as it had gotten lost in a move) saying I owed them over $2,000. I tried contacting Pam to go over this and help send an amended return which took several days to even get ahold of her. I e-mailed her all my info and never heard anything for a week. Come to find out her printer was on the fritz and she hadn't even looked at my info. Now, this is due at the IRS on May 10 and I am writing this on May 1! She said she finally got it done last Thursday (4/28) and sent me the revised return via email with an attachment I could not open!!!!! You can only open it with Tax Act software!! She said she was sending a PDF but sent a TA5. As I recall this same thing happened last year - her sending an attachment I could not open. I have spent all weekend calling and e-mailing her with no answer & no way to leave a voice message. She finally called me this morning and asked if I had gotten her email (which I hadn't!) and said she had been sick and that Spectrum screwed up her phone number. Maybe this is true but that is way too many excuses and problems going on proving she is not reliable!! Also, this is not a way to run a business, especially one as important as taxes not to have a backup phone number or a way to check your e-mail remotely. This morning I contacted a new tax person who hopefully can get this straightened out in a week or I'm going to have to pay more penalties plus pay more fees to the new tax preparer. I've asked Pam for a refund of her fee! Very stressful experience with Pam Camp!!!!!!
