Been going to Dena for six years. My entire family goes to her as well as many of my co workers. We have never had any issues. She has always been very helpful. One of my co workers did get audited and she went with him to the irs for the audit and it went well, he was cleared and she didn't charge for her time. We will be going back this year for our taxes.

Well, it has happened. I received notice yesterday, Sept 12, 2018 that I am being audited by the IRS for year 2016 tax return. Sent an email to Dena Snyder and of course no response. I curse the day I ever went to her for tax preparation.

Seemed like an amazing tax preparer that we were referred to. Went to her for 3 years. Always got nice returns. This was until we had a letter saying we were being audited. Similar to other stories here, she wouldnt respond to our requests. Didnt live up to her promises that if we got audited she would personally go to the IRS office and take care of it as she had done for other clients in the past. Shut down her office with notes on the door. Its bc shes running. She is under criminal investigation. It just just sucks that her clients suffer in the end having to pay back thousands upon thousands of dollars to the IRS all because we trust in good faith that someone knew how to do their job.

Used Dena for the past four years for taxes and was mostly pleased with our experience. Then this year rolled around and I called to make our appointment and she told me not to worry about coming into the office, that she had all my info and just needed me to send our current paperwork and that she would do everything via email. So I sent her everything and she responded that she was working on it, 2 weeks later still hadn't heard a response. I emailed inquiring about our taxes twice, no response. I called and left messages, no calls back. I emailed twice more and still nothing. Ended up doing them myself and here we are over a month later and I still haven't heard a thing from her. STAY AWAY! You will be dissapointed.
