As employees we are reliant on our payroll specialists to be meticulous in order to trust our paycheck (which can be viewed as our livelihood)are correct. If there is an error shouldn't it be communicated and once more, shouldn't that person make an effort to explain? Over a series of payroll (payroll prior to Christmas to date)myself and others at my company have received notices in our pay checks. Note when follow up calls were made, Robyn was unavailable, sufficed to leave a message and then never bothered to pick up the phone again after numerous attempts were made to contact her. My question to you dear reader: if an accountant makes numerous mistakes repeatedly, how can that person be trusted to manage other aspects of your payroll finances, such as quarterly taxes, FICA, FUTA, S.S matching etc? It is my hope you sincerely reconsider. Best of luck!
