Made multiple errors on our returns. Most critically, he miscategorized our mortgage interest leading to underpayment, an audit, and penalties. Our audit came in July '24 and Brian admitted the error was his, but has refused to cover penalties and had the audacity to get upset at us when we responded to a letter from the IRS asking us to pay the balance due by April 7 or face additional penalties because apparently complying with the IRS "greatly incentivized them to ignore [Brian's] letter by paying". Sloppy, dishonest, and clearly not concerned about following IRS laws.
