Abt 4 years ago my former CPA retired and he referred me, my daughter, and my ex-husband to Elizabeth as a possible replacement. Elizabeth has done all of our taxes since then, and has unfortunately proven herself unresponsive and marginally able to meet deadlines. Inquiries fall into the abyss, even text msg's are not replied to, or we receive a quick "I'll call you back in a few hours"... then she never makes the call. In 2023, my tax return apparently fell through the cracks... I called on 4/15 to ask where they were, and was told they were completed 2 weeks prior!? I was never given notice to come in to sign, and I couldn't come in then because I was out of town. My daughter and Ex report the same poor experience with her. When issues are pointed out to her, she doesn't acknowledge any responsibility or suggest how she might perform better next time. Nor does she apologize or give any indication that she is in the least bit concerned that her client(s) received less than satisfactory service from her. It's like you just cannot get through to her at all. I hate to write this, because she is a very nice lady. But I need and frankly - 'expect' - more organization, professionalism, and timeliness with communication from my CPA.

I've been using GTS and associates for several years because they always think of asking the right questions to help me remember all the deductions I am allowed to take! I did my own taxes and tried several other preparers before settling with GTS.
