James Hixenbaugh and his brother William Hixenbaugh have provided the accounting services for Valley Plastics Co. Inc since it was founded in Toledo, Ohio in 1979. Valley Plastics Co. Inc. is a plastics manufacturing firm that was founded by my father David Gregory Thompson and my Mother Virginia M. Thompson. Valley manufactured the cross view mirrors for Mirrorlite Co. Inc. The inventors William P Schmidt's patented designs on these mirrors US Patents Numbers: 5,005,963 and 4,938,578 truncated mirror surface filed oct 6th, 1988 evolved from plexiglas thermoplastic sheets that were heated then vacuum formed to oval or round domes. After they were cooled they were vacuum metalized with aluminum that is heated to vaporization point then dispersed inside the dome to create the mirror. In 48'x48 panels there were usually 5 that were then returned to Valley and cut out on a table saw that was later the computerized traveling saws that Valley purchased for 6 million each. I still think our home with 7 bedrooms and 5.5 full baths and a large unground swimming pool at 5052 Chatham Valley Drive is worth 6 million, because I lived there and the lot was 33,000 square feet with Wildwood Metro Park as a back yard view. James Hixenbaugh and his brother were an integral part of what made it possible to grow up in that home and for us to have a family of good standing in the community of the greater Toledo Area in north western Ohio. James and William Hixenbaugh provided the conservative accounting practices that allowed Valley to expand and offer the Point of Purchase Retail Department Store signage and displays at a low price given the high volume of acrylic sheets Valley purchased from Plaskolite to supply the School Bus Mirrors and Sun Visors to Mirrorlite Co. Inc. James Hixenbuagh and his sound judgement and accounting business also continues to provide services for Valleybrook Chiropractic Clinic Inc originally located at 2349 N Reynolds Road. Dr. Dorothy and James D Thompson , my grandparents, founded Valleybrook and handed over administration to Dr James Magers. The building was designed and built to be a prestigious chiropractic building and won an award from an Architectural Society. Robert, Spring, James, and Kristin, are the children of David and Virginia Thompson, and all are Alumni of Maumee Valley Country Day School, a Private College Prepatory School that has consistently placed students in the top private Colleges and Universities in America. All 4 children graduated from an accredited college. Kristin graduated with Honors from an Ohio School and early. James Hixenbuagh and William Hixenbaugh gave our family business the best hopes for remaining privately held and some day receiving a dividend payment, and perhaps obtain patent rights, and trade secret protection under the laws of the State of Ohio. If you are looking for an accountant I recommend James Hixenbaugh.
